your performance, and/or help your audience enjoy themselves. Our primary goal

Thanks to 4Culture and the City of Renton, Carco Theatre has leading-edge, space-appropriate equipment and systems that will give your production the impact you want. Our pool of professional technicians will work with you to bring your vision to fruition.
From your first call to us, through the theatre tour, and all the way to curtain, we help you plan all the logistics and production elements necessary to produce an exemplary event. Our policies and procedures make it easy for you to be in control of your budget, time and outcomes. You may use any licensed caterer, vendor or restaurant, and we can also help you find them.
Carco Theatre is owned by the City of Renton, WA and managed by Puget Sound Access., a 501c3 non-profit organization. We create a nurturing and professional space for independent film, children’s programs, and multicultural organizations and diverse populations to connect with the region's audiences.
Our Mission: To nurture a rich, inclusive cultural venue that celebrates diversity while engaging and uniting communities on stage and screen.
Our Purpose: Expand services to performers from low-income, multicultural/diverse, or fledgling organizations, enabling them to showcase their talents with the highest level of professionalism, both onstage and onscreen.

300+ seat theatre, with 40'X40' stage, full theatrical lighting and sound systems, and full backstage amenities.
Nonprofit rental rate $250-300/hour
Nonprofit rehearsal rate $150-200/hour
Regular rental rate $300-350/hour
Regular rehearsal rate $210-300/hour
These are all-inclusive estimates.
Lead Technician $50/hr
House Manager $30/hr
Stage Tech $40/hr
Most shows require 1 tech, 1 stagehand, and 2 house managers. Included in the all inclusive estimate to left.
The regular sound and lighting equipment is included in rental, the only charges are for:
Steinway L piano $100/day or $50/4hr
Organ $100/day ot $50/4hr
Laser Presentation Projector $100/day or $50/4hr
Movie Projector $200/day or 100/4hr
Thin Marley Vinyl Dance Floor $300/installation
Thick Marley Vinyl Dance Floor $550/installation

Through the personal tour, event plan, contract and rehearsal/set-up, we offer our expertise to find the best options for your budget and production values.
We offer exhibit space to regional artists in our lobby in order to provide the opportunity for artists to be introduced to new audiences.
